FAQs
What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a collaborative journey between us where my aim is to help you achieve your personal goals, overcome obstacles, and enhance your overall well-being. I offer support, guidance, and accountability to empower you to make positive changes in your life.
How is life coaching different from therapy?
There is a distinct difference between coaching and therapy. Therapy delves into diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, pinpointing triggers, and developing coping mechanisms for symptoms. On the other hand, coaching looks ahead, concentrating on goal-setting, skill enhancement, and fostering positive transformations in the here and now, with an eye toward the future.
Where do we meet?
Most of my clients choose to meet via telephone call for their one-on-one sessions, however, Zoom is an option if you prefer. All Group Coaching sessions take place via Zoom.
What can I expect from a coaching session?
During our coaching sessions, you can anticipate a supportive and accepting space where we'll delve into your goals, challenges, and aspirations. I'll actively listen, pose thought-provoking questions, offer feedback, keep you on track, and collaborate with you to create strategies and action plans to achieve your transformational objectives.
How long does a coaching program typically last?
My coaching programs vary in length depending on your goals and needs. Some clients find that short-term coaching focused on a specific goal or issue works best for them, while others prefer longer-term coaching for ongoing support in meeting their goals. I typically sell sessions in three-month packages, but many clients choose to renew their package based on their individual need for continued support.
What is the cost to work with a life coach?
I offer two types of coaching, one-on-one and group coaching. They’re priced differently and outlined in the services section of the website.
Do you accept insurance?
I accept major credit/debit cards for payment, and conveniently bill you for your upcoming sessions. Insurance is not something that I accept as I’m not a medical provider.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes, coaching sessions are confidential, and I am committed to maintaining your privacy and confidentiality. Information shared during coaching sessions is kept confidential unless disclosure is required by law or there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. For additional information, refer to your coaching agreement.
